ACRT - Certified Line Clearance Arborist
ISA - Certified Arborist Utility Specialist
This credential is unique and only available through ACRT Urban Forestry Training, it is designed for the tree worker whose person, tree, or equipment comes within the 10’ safety zone around energized wires. This credential is based upon successful completion of an intensive 5 day Workshop and a passing score on the examination. Successful completion of this course satisfies OSHA’s demand of employers that they provide electrical safety training for their employees.

The ISA Certification Board requires a candidate to be at least an ISA Certified Arborist and have at least 2000 hours of verifiable work experience directly within electric utility vegetation management over the two years or employed full time as an electric utility arborist/forester/vegetation manager for at least thirty-six cumulative months during the past ten years; employed full time on a project as an electric utility vegetation management contract employee/consultant for at least thirty-six cumulative months during the past ten years
