Victorian Gardens awarded by the Arboriculture Society of Michigan the Corporate Award for 2009.

The company's staff and proprietors are committed to continuing their education .  We all attend classes at Oakland Community College and seminars and conferences provided by TCIA, ASM, ASCA, TCI and ISA.  We stay current with all arboriculture and green industry news.  Jeff has been a Certified Arborist since 1995 and is always striving to continue his education, whether reviewing or obtaining new knowledge.

Kristian Schultz - Certified Arborist MI 0878A, Certified Treecare Safety Professional  #70, Certified Tree Risk Assessment Professional - 20 years experience, Oakland Community College - Plant Identification, Michigan Tree Climbing Champion (MTCC) 2002, Chair of MTCC for 4 years (2004-2007), MTCC Head Judge for Work Climb for 2 years, International Tree Climbing Championship Judge and Tech for 6 years, EHAP and Aerial Rescue Training, Member of Arboriculture Society of Michigan.

For the past five years, Victorian Gardens has judged the foot locking event at the Michigan MTCC Climbing Competition. 

 

Jeffrey Thierbach Earns Highest Professional Certification in Arboriculture as of 5/15/07

 Champaign, IL -- Jeffrey Thierbach of Dryden, MI recently demonstrated professional competency by successfully completing the BOARD CERTIFIED MASTER ARBORIST examination administered through the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) and the local Chapter of the ISA.

The purpose of the ISA Certification Program is to improve the level of knowledge and standard of practice within the tree care profession.  It is designed to assist the public in identifying those professionals in arboriculture who have demonstrated, through a professionally developed examination and education program, an extensive knowledge of tree care practices.  All Board Certified Master Arborists carry a wallet identification card for verification.  Certification is valid for 3 years and renewable with continued education requirements.  The ISA program tests and certifies an individual's knowledge in the field of Arboriculture.

The international Society of Arboriculture is a scientific and educational organization devoted to the dissemination of information in the care and preservation of shade and ornamental trees.

ISA's Certification Program is designed to promote the professional development of those involved in the field of arboriculture of tree care.  When contracting for your tree care needs, contact individuals who are certified through this voluntary program.
