We can't forget Shiloh....he was the first cute and cuddly mascot. Shiloh is 12 years old and is the loyal and very tolerant beagle. The man of the canine family! Briarwood Shepherds Jolynn Seibert is a very responsible breeder. She breeds first for temperament. Jolynn breeds medium drive GSDs. They are family pets. We, German Shepherd owners, know that this breed is extremely smart. They pick up on their owner's moods and body language. Jolynn's GSD's temperaments are a testimonial to what the German Shepherd is supposed to be. Again I stress, they are family pets that herd their owners out of harms way. They anticipate their owner's moods and movements. They think first and then react. They will bark to announce company. They will watch the owner for his or her reaction to the new arrival. What I am trying to get across is: the puppies that Jolynn breeds leave her house with a great temperament. She socializes her puppies, she exposes them to household noises and they live amongst her family and other dogs. Once the new owner takes their puppy home it is up to them to continue this socialization and exposure. If you want a confident German Shepherd that does not scare easy or is a reliable human companion, you must raise them that way. If you are fearful, your dog will be fearful. If you are angry, your dog will be angry. Jolynn breeds for temperament, she raises the puppies in her house to be family pets, it is up to the owner to continue that tradition. We Shepherd and future shepherd owners must be aware of our responsibility as GSD owners. There are no bad dogs, but there are bad owners!! Jolynn loves all her Shepherds and keeps in contact with her clients and their GSDs. She loves when new owners send photos of their Shepherds to her. Choose Briarwood Shepherds for your new puppy.
